About
Hi, I’m Joe. I live in Belmont, California, with my family and our two wonderful kids.
At heart I’m a storyteller and a bard. I love bringing people together and building community, whether that’s with a song, a good story, or a tool that makes someone’s workday a little easier.
That last one is my day job. I spent over eight years as a software engineer at Workday, I’ve run the tech side of Storage Corner Group since 2019, and in 2023 I co-founded Indicode to build custom software for small businesses. The full story is on my Work page.
I studied Information Systems at BYU, and I speak fluent Portuguese and conversational Spanish.
Music
I played guitar, wrote the songs, and sang lead vocals in an original band. Here’s one of our songs.
These days I’m one year into getting a neighborhood dad band off the ground. No results yet, but spirits are still high.
